TL;DR

We don't use cookies. We don't have a backend. We don't store or sell your data. Two cookie-free analytics tools collect anonymized usage stats so we can understand how people use the site. Your truss models stay on your own device.

1. Who We Are

Truzme.com is a free, browser-based truss analysis tool operated as an independent project by an individual based in Budapest, Hungary. For GDPR purposes, the operator acts as data controller. Contact: truzme.com/contact.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

  • Names, email addresses, or any account information (there are no accounts)
  • Your truss models or calculation data — these are stored only in your browser's localStorage, on your own device
  • Payment information
  • Any data via cookies (we use none)

3. Analytics — What We Do Collect

We use two privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics services to understand aggregate usage patterns (page views, geographic distribution, browser types). Neither service tracks individual users across sessions or sites.

Vercel Analytics — Anonymized pageview data, approximate geography, device type. No cookies. Data processed on Vercel infrastructure (USA), covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under GDPR.

Pirsch.io — Cookie-free, GDPR-compliant analytics. No personal data stored. Data processed on EU servers (Germany). No cross-site tracking.

Data collected is limited to: page URL, referrer, approximate country, browser, screen size, and session duration. No fingerprinting is used to identify individual visitors.

4. localStorage

Your truss models and app preferences are saved in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device. We have no access to it. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

5. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to external services (e.g. Buy Me a Coffee, email waitlist providers). These services have their own privacy policies; we are not responsible for their data practices.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Because we do not collect personal data directly, most of these rights apply to the third-party analytics providers listed above, not to us.

To opt out of Vercel Analytics, use a standard ad blocker or tracking blocker. To opt out of Pirsch.io, enable “Do Not Track” in your browser — Pirsch respects this signal.

7. Data Retention

We do not retain personal data ourselves. Analytics providers retain aggregated, anonymized data per their own retention policies.

8. Children

Truzme is commonly used in educational settings including by students. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including minors, as described in this policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
